Well my water broke at 9:30 a.m. and no contractions so we waited and took some castor oil. That started some but not much so we walked and talked and then some came about 3:30 hard labor began and then about 5:00 pushing began. All went great until about 5:45 I had his head out but his shoulders were not coming. I can only imagine why....so he was stuck and not getting any oxygen and my contractions had stopped so I had no help in pushing...eventually after much effort he came. He had to be resuscitated but after that he has been doing amazing. I did lose a little more blood then liked so I ended up being transferred for the night and getting 3 blood transfusions. For some reading you may think this was awful but let me tell ya after Elli it was almost a cake walk. Except the pushing out an almost 11 lb baby now that was hard....I don't recommend that. ever. ;D We are all doing great and bubba is a very consistent nurser with the longest stretch being an hour and a half if i'm lucky ;D but that's ok cause he obviously needs it. He is an excellent baby and sleeps when not eating so what more could I ask for.... Love that cute chunky monkey ;D
